When is the camp?
Saturday, June 19th, 2010

Where will the camp be held?
French Field at Kent Meridian High School, 10020 SE 256th St., Kent, WA 98030

How many days is the camp?
1 day

What will my child learn from the camp aside from football skills?
Your child will learn life skills that will not only help him/her be a better football player but a better person. The coaches will be teaching your child how to apply a number of motivational words, such as character and perseverance, to his/her everyday life.

Is camp space limited?
Yes. Space is limited. It will be filled on a "first come first serve" basis.

What time will the camp start and end?
The camp will run from 9:00am - 4:00pm
Registration will begin at 8:15am

Can both boys and girls attend?
Yes.

Is there a release form that needs to be signed?
Yes. There is a release form that is in every brochure, located on the back of the registration form. The form must be signed in order for your child to participate.

Is there a required age for campers?
Yes. Campers must be between the ages of 8-16. No exceptions.

What is the cost of the camp?
$75 per camper
But if you register on the day of the camp the fee will be $100
Registration postmarked by June 4th will qualify
for a $10 discount totaling $65


What does the cost of the camp cover?
Instruction from both professional athletes and local coaches
Lunch from Rooter's BBQ
Camp T-Shirt

Does my child need to bring water?
No. Water will be provided.

Will lunch be provided?
Yes. Lunch will be provided by Rooter's BBQ.

What will the campers be provided at the camp?
We will be providing your child with lunch, water, and a camp T-shirt.

Who will be coaching?
The coaches will include Mike Karney, himself, along with other Professional Athletes, and local junior and high school coaches.

What should my child wear?
We recommend wearing shorts and a T-Shirt. Footwear options are limited to tennis shoes and/or rubber soled cleats only.

Should my child wear special shoes?
Footwear options are limited to tennis shoes and/or rubber soled cleats only.

What type of playing field will the camp activities be on?
Field Turf

Can I, as a parent, stay and watch?
Yes. We encourage all parents to stay and watch.

Will there be any food at the camp for parents who stay and watch?
Yes. Concessions will be open at the stadium all day.

Will there be an information session for parents at the camp?
Yes. There will be a brief fitness and supplementation presentation for parents sometime between 12:00-1:00

What will the camp schedule look like?
The camp schedule is roughly outlined below, but it is subject to change.
8:15am-9am: Registration
9:00am-12:00pm: Camp Intro, Stretching, 1st Quarter Breakouts,
2nd Quarter Breakouts, and Speaker
12:00pm-1:00pm: Rooter's BBQ Lunch and Speakers
1:00pm-3:30 pm: 3rd Quarter Breakouts, 4th quarter Breakouts, and Speaker
3:30pm-4:00pm: Closing Speakers

Players "expected to attend" include:

Skyler Fulton: Indianapolis Colts & Minnesota Vikings WR (Capital HS, WA)
Mason Unck: Cleveland Browns LB
Victor Adeyanju: St. Louis Rams DE
Owen Schmitt: Seattle Seahawks FB
Steven Jackson: St. Louis Rams RB
Richard Thomas: Kentwood HS, UW, Baltimore Ravens

What if my child has dietary needs or allergies?
There is a space on the registration form for you to mark if your child has dietary needs or allergies.
